Danielle Kravits, MS, RD joined the University of Pittsburgh Department of Athletics in January 2023 as a Sports Nutrition Fellow.
Kravits works with the football team. Her responsibilities include providing consultations, body composition assessments, team educations, and cooking demos. She also provides monthly educations to all nutrition volunteers to increase their sports nutrition knowledge.
Prior to joining Pitt, Kravits completed her Master’s in Kinesiology and Post-Bac in Dietetics at Texas A&M and her dietetic internship at the University of Oklahoma. She provided nutrition services to the men’s and women’s tennis teams while at Texas A&M. While at the University of Oklahoma, she gained experience working with the Oklahoma football team. Additionally, for a year after her internship, she worked for a private practice treating those with eating disorders/disordered eating.
Kravits completed her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at the Seton Hill University in 2017, where she played Division II soccer.

What is your favorite thing to do in the city of Pittsburgh?
Explore different hole in the wall coffee shops!
What is your favorite aspect of working in Pitt’s athletic department?
Building rapport with the student-athletes and the staff!
Hobbies outside of work?
Walking my dog, going to the gym, visiting my friends in other states
What do you love most about working in athletics?
Working with the athletes to support their performance goals while in a fast paced environment. Plus, there is always something new to learn!
