2022: Enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh in January 2022…played in 11 games, missing two contests (Louisville and North Carolina) due to injury…averaged 38.5 yards on 30 punts…placed 11 inside the 20-yard line while 10 of his punts resulted in a fair catch…had only one touchback (against Syracuse)…had a long punt of 53 yards against West Virginia…averaged a personal-best 46.0 yards on two punts against Syracuse…placed a personal-high three punts inside the 20 against Duke…selected to the All-ACC Academic Football Team.

PRIOR TO PITT: An Australian rules football player from his youth, Vander Haar went on to work with the renowned Prokick Australia program that has produced many successful collegiate and NFL punters…Prokick Australia’s “exports” include Minnesota Vikings punter Jordan Berry, the San Francisco 49ers’ Mitch Wishnowsky, the Seattle Seahawks’ Michael Dickson as well as the Houston Texans’ Cameron Johnston.
