2017: Played in all 12 games, starting six…led Pitt in all-purpose yards with 1,204 (100.3 yards per game)…rushed for 251 yards on 36 carries (7.0 avg.)…had 186 receiving yards on 17 catches (10.9 avg.)…once again was one of the country’s most dangerous return men…averaged 11.6 yards on 21 punt returns (243 yards), returning two for touchdowns…averaged 21.0 yards on 25 kickoff returns (524 yards)…finished his career with a Pitt-record seven kick returns for touchdowns (four on kickoffs and three on punts)…in 2017, had punt return TDs at Georgia Tech (80 yards) and against Virginia (75 yards)…honored as the ACC’s Specialist of the Week following each of those contests against the Yellow Jackets and Cavaliers…selected All-ACC as a specialist by league coaches (second team)…the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association (ACSMA) named him a second-team pick as a specialist and utility player.
2016: Established himself as college football's most explosive return specialist and one of the nation's most exciting all-purpose players...earned Consensus All-America status as he was honored by each of the NCAA's five recognized selectors...named a first team All-America kick returner by the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA), Sporting News and Walter Camp Football Foundation...named a second team All-America all-purpose player by Associated Press and American Football Coaches Association (AFCA)...became the first Pitt sophomore to earn consensus All-America status since wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald in 2003...Henderson was also the first All-America return man in Pitt history...selected a first-team All-ACC kick returner by the coaches and media...Honorable Mention All-ACC as a wide receiver...led the country in kickoff return touchdowns (a school-record three)...returned kickoffs for touchdowns against Villanova (96 yards), Virginia (93 yards) and Miami (100 yards)...also had a 65-yard punt return TD vs. Duke, giving him four total returns for scores...led the nation in combined kick return yards (1,166)...ranked third nationally with a 15.8-yard punt return average (16 for 252 yards)...ranked fifth in the nation with a 30.5-yard kickoff return average (30 for a school-record 914 yards)...ranked 11th nationally with an average of 160.23 all-purpose yards per game...compiled 2,083 all-purpose yards for the season, second only to legendary tailback Tony Dorsett in Pitt annals (Dorsett had 2,217 during his 1976 Heisman Trophy campaign)...Dorsett and Henderson are the only players in Pitt history to reach 2,000 all-purpose yards in a season...was the Panthers' second-leading rusher, netting 631 yards on 60 carries for an average of 10.5 yards per attempt...had two 100-yard rushing games: 107 yards on nine carries (11.9 avg.) at North Carolina and 103 yards on five carries (20.6 avg.) against Syracuse...had a career-long 66-yard rush for a TD against the Orange...had 26 catches for 286 yards (11.0 avg.) on the season...compiled 10 total touchdowns, reaching the end zone in four different ways...had five rushing touchdowns, three kickoff return touchdowns, one receiving TD and one punt return score...became just the ninth player from a Power 5 conference since 2007 to compile nine touchdowns via rushing, receiving, kick return and punt return.
2015: Played in nine games to letter as a true freshman, contributing as a wide receiver and kick returner…led Pitt with 504 kickoff return yards on 18 attempts (28.0 avg.)…took the opening kickoff of the Military Bowl against Navy 100 yards for a touchdown…it was the Panthers' first 100-yard kickoff return TD since 1990 (Ricky Turner against West Virginia)…totaled two receptions on the year (both against Youngstown State in the opener)…also rushed twice for five yards (a three-yard rush against YSU and a two-yard run at Duke).
HIGH SCHOOL: The top overall prospect in Delaware according to ESPN, Rivals and Scout…selected first team All-Delaware Interscholastic Football Coaches Association (DIFCA) at three different positions—wide receiver, defensive back and returner…as a senior, had 36 receptions for 826 yards (22.9 avg.) and 13 touchdowns…on defense had 37 tackles and four interceptions…had two kickoff return TDs…was a two-way starter at wide receiver and cornerback in each of his three varsity seasons at A.I. du Pont…as a junior, compiled 31 catches for 831 yards (26.8 avg.) and 10 touchdowns, while rushing for 164 yards and a TD on 16 carries (10.3 avg.)…also had five touchdowns on returns (two interceptions, two kickoffs and a punt)…second team All-DIFCA at receiver as a junior…played under Coach Zeb Blum…rated the nation’s No. 21 all-purpose back by 247Sports…selected to play in the Delaware Foundation Reaching Citizens (DFRC) Blue-Gold All-Star Game…also played basketball and ran track…set a school record in the 100 meters, running 10.8.
