High School: Three-year starter at Hialeah-Miami Lakes High under Coach Jerry Hughes...started both ways (center and linebacker) his final two seasons...helped team to the third round of the Florida 6A (highest classification) playoffs his senior year...Honorable Mention All-Dade County selection...also a wrestling letterman.
