HIGH SCHOOL: Played fullback and linebacker at Bishop McDevitt, helping the Crusaders to a 28-3 record (.903) his final two seasons...as a senior, Kerle was a lead blocker in an offense that averaged 42 points and nearly 250 rushing yards per contest...Bishop McDevitt went 14-2 that year, finishing as the PIAA Class AAA runner-up...played under Coach Jeff Weachter.
