2022: Started all 12 games he played in…lone missed contest was the Sept. 24 Rhode Island game due to injury…compiled 60 catches for 1,063 yards (17.7 avg.) and five touchdowns on the year…All-ACC (second team)…in the regular-season finale at Miami, fueled a 42-16 victory with 11 catches for 205 yards (18.6 avg.) and three touchdowns…his receiving yardage was the most by a Pitt player since Larry Fitzgerald had 207 at Rutgers in 2003…Wayne achieved only the eighth 200-yard receiving game in Pitt history…named to the Pro Football Focus National Team of the Week as well as ACC Receiver of the Week for his Miami performance…posted seven catches for 161 yards (23.0 avg.) at North Carolina…had six receptions for 102 yards (17.0 avg.) against Syracuse...selected to play in the Hula Bowl.

2021: Played in 13 games, starting four…lone missed contest (New Hampshire) was due to injury…starting assignments came against Western Michigan, North Carolina, Virginia and Wake Forest (ACC Championship Game)…finished second on the team in receptions (47), receiving yards (658) and receiving touchdowns (tied with six)…a former high school quarterback, he was also utilized on gadget plays and finished 2-of-3 passing for 36 yards and a TD…had a season-high 100 receiving yards (on five catches) against Western Michigan…twice had a season-high six receptions: Massachusetts (for 55 yards) and Miami (78 yards and a TD)…had five receptions for 81 yards and a TD at Duke…threw a 16-yard touchdown pass to Lucas Krull at Tennessee, giving Pitt a 14-13 lead…also connected with Krull on a 20-yard completion against Wake Forest in the ACC Championship Game…named one of five finalists for the Jon Cornish Trophy, given to the top NCAA football player who is from Canada.

2020: Played in eight games, starting three…starting assignments came against Louisville, Florida State and Georgia Tech…compiled 21 receptions for 326 yards (15.5 avg.) and a touchdown…logged a season-high five catches in three different games (Syracuse, Clemson and Georgia Tech)…had a season-high 66 receiving yards on just two catches (33.0 avg.) at Florida State…his scoring reception was a 17-yarder against Syracuse.

2019: Played in eight games as a true freshman, starting the final four contests of the season…compiled 18 catches for 261 yards (14.5 avg.) and a touchdown on the year…achieved season highs with six receptions for 100 yards (16.7 avg.) against Boston College…became the first Pitt freshman to log a 100-yard receiving effort since 2013, when Tyler Boyd had five such outings…his first collegiate touchdown was a 19-yard reception in the Quick Lane Bowl victory over Eastern Michigan.

HIGH SCHOOL: A native of Canada who played at Florida’s Clearwater Academy International as a senior…compiled 61 receptions for 1,157 yards (18.9 avg.) and 14 touchdowns in leading the Knights to an 11-0 mark, the first undefeated season in school history…previously played at Trinity College School in Port Hope, Ontario, where he was a quarterback, wide receiver and safety…rated the No. 4 Canadian prospect by ESPN…played under Clearwater Academy International coach Jesse Chinchar.
