2018: Played in 13 games as the team’s holder for placekicks…missed the Penn State contest due to injury...served as the primary reserve behind starting placekicker Alex Kessman but did not attempt any kicks.

2017: Joined Pitt as a training camp walk-on and redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: In his final two varsity seasons, helped lead Hickory to consecutive District 10 championships…accounted for 84 points as a senior, converting 66 extra points and six field goals…had a season-long kick of 46 yards against Greenville…first team all-region and all-district…played under Coach Bill Brest…also a four-year member of the soccer team…four-year High Honor Roll student.

PERSONAL: Jacob John Scarton, born 11/7/98, is the son of Ronald and Kathryn Scarton…has two brothers and one sister…civil engineering major.
