2018: Started 13 games at defensive end, missing the Nov. 17 Wake Forest contest due to injury…totaled 29 tackles, five TFLs, 4.5 sacks, a fumble recovery and a forced fumble…keyed Pitt’s 23-13 win at Virginia with 2.5 sacks for losses totaling 19 yards…had a season-high four tackles in three separate games (Georgia Tech, Duke and Virginia)…had a crucial fumble recovery in the 54-45 win over Duke, halting a drive that had reached the Pitt 11…forced a fumble against Stanford in the Sun Bowl.
2017: Played in 11 games, starting 10 at defensive end…missed the Virginia game due to injury…totaled 21 tackles, five TFLs, three sacks and a fumble recovery on the year…had a career-high five tackles at Syracuse...recorded sacks against Penn State, Virginia Tech and Miami…clinched Pitt’s 24-14 win over No. 2 Miami by recovering a fumble caused by teammate Avonte Maddox’s strip-sack of Malik Rosier with 1:45 left.
2016: An opening-day starter at defensive end, Hendrix sustained a season-ending injury on Pitt's third defensive series against Villanova and was lost for the season.
