2020: All-ACC (second team)…played in and started 10 contests at safety…paced Pitt in tackles (67) and pass breakups (seven)…also collected 3.5 TFLs and two interceptions…logged interceptions against Louisville and Florida State…honored as the ACC Co-Defensive Back of the Week for his performance in the Panthers’ 47-14 win over Virginia Tech…compiled a game-high 11 tackles against the Hokies, including three crucial stops on fourth down…Hamlin twice stopped Hokies quarterback Hendon Hooker shy of the first-down marker with solo tackles…then, with Virginia Tech trailing by 12 in the third quarter and facing 4th-and-goal at the Pitt 1, Hamlin teamed with linebacker Phil Campbell III to halt Hooker for no gain, turning the ball back to the Panthers…had a season-high 12 tackles with two TFLs at Miami…had 10 stops against NC State and Clemson…voted a Pitt captain by his teammates…invited to play in the prestigious Reese’s Senior Bowl all-star game.
