Ronald Booker enters his third season as an offensive graduate assistant at Pitt. Booker has a positional focus on the wide receivers and has worked with Freshman All-American Jordan Addison as well as All-ACC performer Maurice Ffrench, now a member of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Prior to his Pitt appointment, he spent five seasons (2014-18) on the football staff at his alma mater, Rhodes College, in Memphis, Tenn. During his coaching tenure with the Lynx, Booker coached every position in the secondary as well as the wide receivers.
Booker also served Rhodes as strength and conditioning director for football. He additionally led the football program’s social media and video initiatives.
An outstanding player himself at Rhodes, Booker was a defensive back and special teams ace for the Lynx’s 2013 Southern Athletic Association (SAA) championship team. It was the first conference title for Rhodes since the 1980s.
A Memphis native, Booker earned his bachelor’s degree in commerce and business from Rhodes in 2014.
