Israel Abanikanda was the ACC rushing champion with 1,431 yards and led the nation in scoring with 11.6 points per game. Abanikanda was named a first team All-American by CBS Sports and ESPN.
Wide receiver Jared Wayne enjoyed the highest production of his career, compiling 1,063 yards on 60 catches, earning All-ACC accolades.
DiBiaso arrived in Pittsburgh after serving as an offensive analyst at Vanderbilt during the 2021 season.
He previously worked at Boston College in a graduate assistant capacity for three years (2018-20), assisting the Eagles’ offensive staff with a positional emphasis on the quarterbacks.
His additional coaching experience includes one season as an assistant at Boston’s Catholic Memorial School (2017) as well as three training camp internships with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2015-17.
A standout quarterback at Everett High School, DiBiaso was honored as the Massachusetts Gatorade Player of the Year as a senior. He led his team to a pair of state championships in football and also lettered in baseball and basketball.
DiBiaso was a quarterback at Dartmouth (2015-17) before completing his undergraduate career at Tufts University. He earned his bachelor’s degree in child development from Tufts in 2018 and completed a master’s degree in sports administration from Boston College in 2020.
