Colton Lively, a Pitt letterman as a hard-nosed fullback, enters his third season as a program graduate assistant. In this capacity, Lively serves in various administrative and operational functions for the Panthers.
Lively played for the Panthers from 2013-17, contributing not only in the backfield but on special teams as well. He is a 2017 graduate of Pitt with a bachelor’s degree in communication and is now enrolled in Pitt’s Katz Graduate School of Business.
A Texas native, Lively starred at Lake Dallas High School, where he was an all-district performer at defensive end. His senior year he collected 73 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, 10 sacks and 20 quarterback hurries to lead Lake Dallas to the Texas state playoffs. Lively was also a track and field standout, capturing the district championship in the discus.
