2018: Reserve guard who played in two games (Virginia Tech and Miami)…enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh in January 2018 following his transfer from Lackawanna College (Pa.)…participated in spring drills.

PRIOR TO PITT: A two-year starter at Lackawanna under Coach Mark Duda…started at offensive guard in 2017 after playing tackle his initial season in 2016…helped Lackawanna to a two-year record of 17-3 (.850), including a pair of Top 20 finishes in the NJCAA rankings…the 2016 team finished with a No. 8 ranking after going 10-1 and earning a berth in the Valley of the Sun Bowl…in 2017, the Falcons went 7-2 and finished No. 19 nationally…began his collegiate career at FCS power James Madison, redshirting during the 2015 season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a two-year starter at Briar Woods, where he helped the team to a combined 21-6 mark (.778) over his junior and senior seasons under Coach Charlie Pierce…his junior year, helped team to a 13-2 mark and the Virginia High School League (VHSL) Class 5A championship game.

PERSONAL: Chase Gregory Brown, born 7/2/97, is the son of Greg and Laura Brown…has one brother…earned his bachelor's degree in social sciences.
