2024: Played in all 13 games, starting four…starting assignments came at Money linebacker against Kent State, Cincinnati, North Carolina and California…had 53 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, four sacks and one interception (TD) on the year…had a career-high nine tackles with two TFLs and a sack against Virginia…had seven stops, including career highs in TFLs (three) and sacks (two) against California…had a 33-yard interception return touchdown against Syracuse.
2023: Enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh in January 2023 following his early graduation from Leechburg...played in 11 games, missing one (Wake Forest) due to injury...contributions came on special teams and as a reserve Money linebacker...totaled 24 tackles, one tackle for loss and one fumble recovery (TD)...collected a season-high eight tackles with a TFL at Virginia Tech...scooped up a fumble and returned it four yards for a TD against the Hokies...logged five tackles against both West Virginia and Syracuse.
HIGH SCHOOL: A do-it-all player for Leechburg, leading a resurgence of the Blue Devils program as a running back and middle linebacker…rushed for 4,170 yards on 471 carries (8.9 avg.) for his career…as a senior, netted 1,369 rushing yards and scored 29 total touchdowns, while collecting 71 tackles and 10.5 tackles for loss…Pittsburgh Post-Gazette “Fabulous 22”…All-Eastern Conference…team advanced to the WPIAL Class A playoffs each of his final two years…the Blue Devils went 9-3 his junior year, making the playoffs for the first time since 1988 and earning their first playoff victory since 1978…became the first Division I football commit from Leechburg since his father, David Lovelace, earned a scholarship to Rutgers in 1993…rated Pennsylvania’s No. 21 overall prospect by Rivals, No. 23 by 247Sports and No. 27 by ESPN…played under Coach Randy Walters.
