2017: Played in 10 games, starting six contests...completed 56% of his passes (88 of 158) for 1,091 yards with five touchdowns and five interceptions…also rushed for a touchdown and threw a 2-point conversion pass (both at Penn State)…came off the bench to throw for a season-high 228 yards on 13-of-25 passing with a TD and two INTs against Oklahoma State…following his performance against OSU, made his first career start a week later at Georgia Tech and completed 12 of 19 for 110 yards and a TD…had season highs in attempts (32) and completions (19) against NC State, throwing for 170 yards with a TD and an INT against the Wolfpack.
2016: Played in two games in his first active season…most significant action came in the Pinstripe Bowl against Northwestern when he relieved an injured Nathan Peterman late in the third quarter…finished 3-of-9 passing for 16 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions, while also rushing twice for 18 yards against the Wildcats…other game action came on Pitt’s final offensive series against Duke.
2015: Redshirted as a true freshman.
