2011-12: Indoor T/F - Broke the school record in the 300M with a time of 38.51 at the Golden Flash Gala, which was the first meet of her collegiate career...competed at the Penn State Relays in the 500M running 1:14.16, a Big East qualifying mark...finished third in the 200M at Penn State Nittany Lion Challenge running a 24.25 and second in the 60M with a time of 7.62...finished third in the 200M at the Penn State National Open running a 24.25...finished third in the 400M at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational with a time of 52.75, breaking a 21-year program record... took the 400M dash title with a time of 53.82 and finished fourth in the 60M dash and fifth in the 200M dash with a time of 24.30 at her first Big East Championships...qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships in the 400M as a freshman and qualified for the final with a time of 53.12...Outdoor T/F - Competed at the Fred Hardy Invitational placing sixth in the 800M running 2:16.
High School: Taylor was named the 2011 indoor and outdoor state track state champion...she also grabbed the title of the 2011 All-American for indoor track...took fifth place at the 2011 indoor nationals...titled as the 2011 Pennsylvania Classic Champion...and she also graduated as the high school All-American and All-Interacademic winner.
Personal: Born on May 6, 1993...daughter of Stephen Watson and Melanie Ellis Nelson...has two sisters and two brothers: Baiana, Arianna, Rylee and Darius...enrolled in the School of Arts and Sciences.
