2025: Saw action in every meet the Panthers participated in... opened the year with a fourth place performance at the Panther Opener, completing the 3.11M course in 14:49.9... improved 8K time to 24:19.1 at the Princeton Fall Classic... concluded the campaign with a 10K time of 30:53.4 at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships, receiving 40th for his efforts.
2024: Did not compete.
2023: Competed in five meets... finished the 3.11M Panther Opener course in 14:48.0 for 13th place... completed the Harry Groves Spiked Shoe Invitational 5.2M in 26:30.8, earning 28th place... ran the Joe Piane Invitational 5M in 25:56.9... season best 8K time of 25:37.5 took place at the XC23 College & Open on Oct. 14.
2022: Appeared in five meets for the Panthers... Finished 7th with a time of 15:01.90 at the Panthers Opener… Set a personal best at the Virginia Invitational (Sep. 16) securing 36th place with a time of 19:08.40 in the 6k… Completed the Joe Piane Invitational by securing a personal best in the 5M with a time of 26:44.40... Finished in 201st place (26:12.60) at Weis- Crockett Invitational (Oct. 15) … At ACC Championships set a personal best in the 8k with a time of 25:58.20, taking home 122nd place.
High School: Six-time state medalist for Durango High School in Durango, Co. under coaches Kenneth Flint and Ron Keller… Ranked 39th in the nation for cross country as a senior… As a junior in 2020-21: state qualifier in four track events (4x800, 1600, 800, 3200) and for cross country… set his 5k personal best at 16:09… As a senior in 2021-22: once again qualified for states in four track events (4x800, 1600, 800, 4x400) and in cross country… Improved 5k personal-best time to 14:44.
Personal: Born May 26th, 2004… Son of Crystal and Ricky Frausto Jr. … Has one sister, Teagan… enjoys watching football and baseball… lists his favorite athletes as Cooper Teare and Clayton Murphy… his favorite movie is the original Karate Kid… Plans on majoring in engineering at Pitt.
