- Played his senior year at Meadowcreek (Ga.) High after transferring from Kinston High in N.C. following the 2017-18 academic year

- Averaged 12.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.2 steals per game in his senior year, leading Meadowcreek to a 26-6 overall record, a 12-1 region record and an appearance in the state championship game
- Averaged 17.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.4 steals per game as a junior at Kinston while helping lead the Vikings to the top seed in the NCHSAA 2A Eastern bracket and a share of the ECC title
