As a transportation option for students, Pitt Athletics offers free bus rides to Acrisure Stadium and back to campus during Pitt Football home games.
These buses typically begin running 3.5 hours before kickoff. They will depart from Nordenberg Hall and drop off near Acrisure Stadium on Reedsdale Street. Return trips will begin at halftime from Reedsdale Street.
Student Entrance - Gate C
Students can only enter Acrisure Stadium through Gate C, which opens 2 hours before kickoff. Arrive early, as students often line up before it opens. Have your student tickets ready for scanning. Seating in the Panther Pitt is first-come, first-served, with the first 5,000 students receiving a wristband for the lower section.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Student Panther Club (SPC) is a membership group of Pitt students that supports our student athletes similar to how our philanthropic donors support our student athletes through The Panther Club. By becoming an SPC member, you not only receive season tickets to Football and/or Men’s Basketball games along with great additional benefits, but additionally, a portion of your purchase is donated to our student-athlete success fund to help our Panthers in their sports and in the classroom.
Thank you for supporting our student athletes as fans and by providing crucial resources for them to succeed as a fellow Pitt student!
Any student enrolled at any University of Pittsburgh campus can be a SPC member. This includes undergraduates, graduates, and doctoral students.
Student season tickets sales typically launch in early April. Gold Pass holders will receive first priority in claiming tickets for select Football games and Men’s Basketball games. Single game tickets and buddy passes will be made available 5 days before each game if ticket inventory remains.
Gold Pass holders will be able to claim tickets for each game two weeks prior to game day. Any student can be part of the Oakland Zoo Student Section if they purchase either a Gold Pass, a Full Court Pass (launches in September), a single game ticket, or a buddy pass. In the Zoo, BE LOUD, and wear gold!
Oakland Zoo seating is handled similarly to the Panther Pitt seating: first come, first serve. The first 1,000 students at a Men’s basketball game are allowed to sit in the lower bowl Oakland Zoo section. Any additional students will be assigned overflow seats likely in the 200-Level sections.
Gold Pass holders will be able to claim their ticket two weeks before each game at 10 a.m. Regular emails will be sent out to SPC members reminding them of claim dates for individual games. Some games may run out of student tickets early due to capacity restrictions, so be sure to claim tickets early once the claim window opens leading up for each game. Students can claim their tickets at pi.tt/zoo once each claim window opens.
Students can become SPC members at any time! However, they will be able to get the most value for their tickets and benefits if they purchase before our athletic seasons begin.
For any game that SPC members are offered free or discounted tickets, the tickets will become available to claim or purchase the week before the game at pi.tt/PantherPitt
As a benefit for being an SPC member, students can purchase buddy passes to select home games. Buddy Passes are $5 student tickets that can be shared with friends if they don’t have a ticket to the game. If Buddy Passes are available for a particular game, they will be available for purchase the week prior to the game. The amount of available Buddy Passes to each SPC member may vary from game-to-game depending on capacity restrictions. Buddy Passes can be purchased at pi.tt/PantherPitt
