Game Restart Update
Pitt Football will resume play at 4:35 p.m. on ESPN2.
Pitt returns to Acrisure Stadium this Saturday to host UCF in the Panthers' second game of the 2026 season. The Panthers and Knights will meet for the fourth time, with Pitt holding a 2-1 advantage in the all-time series. Saturday's matchup marks just the second time UCF has visited Pittsburgh, with the Panthers earning a memorable 35-34 victory over the Knights in 2019.
Pitt enters the matchup following a record-setting 59-14 victory over Miami (Ohio) in the season opener. Quarterback Mason Heintschel tied Pitt's single-game record with seven touchdown passes, while the Panthers scored 59 points in their highest-scoring season opener since 1992.
Saturday also features a full slate of game-day celebrations, including the Pitt Athletics Hall of Fame Game, Kids Day and Band & Spirit Day.

Bring the whole family to Acrisure Stadium for Pitt’s matchup with UCF on Sept. 12! Kids Day returns to Acrisure Stadium on Sept. 12, with special activities and experiences planned for our youngest Panthers fans.
Come early, enjoy the festivities and cheer on the Panthers as they take on the Knights at 3:30 p.m.!

Panther Club staff & Pitt Spirit Squad members will be prowling the parking lots 3 hours prior to kick-off to award the "Tailgate of the Game" presented by Pennsylvania Lottery. The winner will receive a PA Lottery & Pitt Swag Bag and get their picture on the videoboard!
