CHARLOTTE, NC – The Pitt lacrosse student-athletes had a strong semester in the University of Pittsburgh classrooms, achieving a 3.51 GPA cumulatively and earning conference recognition by placing 13 on the 2025 Women's Lacrosse All-ACC Academic Team.
The list includes: Alexa Carannante, Aidan Carr, Rachel Familetti, Jill Fenech, Kaitlyn Giandonato, Gracie Kahoun, Paige Kawa, Avery Moon, Sydney Naylor, Megan Sheridan, Paige Telatovich, Abby Thorne and Talia Zuco.
Fenech has now received the academic recognition in each of her four years on campus. Carannante, Familetti, Naylor, Thorne and Zuco have all garnered the honor three times. Giandonato, Kahoun, Moon, Sheridan and Telatovich have found their names on the list twice.
Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. The student-athletes must have participated in at least 50% of their team's contests as well.
The ACC Honor Roll, which recognizes all conference student-athletes with a grade point average of 3.0 for the current academic year, will be released in July.
