Hinson To Play in California Classic & 2K26 Las Vegas Summer League with Golden State

PITTSBURGH – Pitt's Blake Hinson continues his NBA journey this summer with the Golden State Warriors franchise after an impressive rookie season with Santa Cruz in the G League. The 6-8 forward will be in action with the Warriors at the seventh annual California Classic July 5-8 at the Chase Center before heading to Las Vegas for the NBA 2K26 Summer League (July 10-20).

Hinson averaged 17.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.2 three-point field goals per game across 50 contests during the G League Tip-Off Tournament and regular season. Over 34 regular season games, he averaged 20.1 points and 5.0 rebounds, while making a league-best 126 threes to help the Warriors to a playoff berth. He tied a franchise record with 10 three-pointers and finished with 44 points in a March 29 win over the Rip City Remix to clinch a spot in the playoffs.
