Men's Distance Completes Wake Forest Invitational

WINSTON-SALEM, NC – Five men's distance runners made the trip to the Tar Heel state to race at the Wake Forest Invitational on Friday afternoon.
Finn Walsh and Luke Simpson ran season's best times of 3:43.92 and 3:44.11, respectively, in the men's 1500-meter race. Walsh finished in eighth and Simpson followed in tenth.
In the men's 5k, Luke Miller was the first from Pitt to finish. Miller recorded a time of 14:01.86, about four seconds shy of his best. Freshman Thomas McMahon stopped the clock in 14:08.88. Quintin Gatons maintained a pace of 14:35.22.
