PITTSBURGH – Four-star guard Nojus Indrusaitis [Noy-us in-drew-SIGHT-iss] has signed an aid agreement to join the Pitt men's basketball team after spending his freshman year at Iowa State last season. The Chicago, Ill., native has three seasons of eligibility remaining and joins former Cyclone teammate Dishon Jackson on the Pitt roster for the 2025-26 season.
"Nojus is a talented guard with good size and skills," said head coach Jeff Capel. "His playing time was limited as a freshman last season while playing behind a veteran group of guards at Iowa State, but he has shown the ability to perform at a high level throughout his high school and international career. He has the shooting stroke, playmaking ability, and basketball IQ to play either guard position. We look forward to having him in our program and helping him continue to develop his game."
Indrusaitis played in 15 games as a true freshman at Iowa State averaging 2.1 points, 0.4 rebounds, and 0.3 assists in 5.8 minutes per game. He scored a season-high eight points in his Cyclones debut against Mississippi Valley State.
The 6-5, 200-pound guard averaged 20.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game for Lithuania at the 2024 U18 Eurobasket event. He shot 44.6 percent (54-of-121) from the field, including 35.4 percent (17-of-48) from three-point range, over seven games. Indrusaitis topped the 20-point mark three times at the 2024 Eurobasket including a 30-point effort in a win over Sweden. He added eight rebounds, six assists, a steal, and a block in the contest.
Indrusaitis has been a member of Lithuania's U18 FIBA team and played for Nike Meanstreets on the EYBL circuit. In the summer of 2023, he named MVP at Basketball Without Borders Europe Camp. He also earned all-tournament team accolades as well as a gold medal with the Lithuanian National Team at the 2022 FIBA U16 European Championship.
A consensus four-star recruit in 2024, Indrusaitis was a consensus top 100 player in the country by all three national outlets, ranking No. 67 by ESPN, No. 83 by Rivals and No. 85 by 247Sports. He played his senior year at Brewster Academy, where he led the team to a 27-7 record and was named the New Hampshire Gatorade Player of the Year.
