PITTSBURGH — The Lott IMPACT Trophy, presented by Allied Universal, announced today that Pitt linebacker Braylan Lovelace has been named the Week 13 Player of the Week for the 2025 college football season.
Lovelace recorded four tackles and a 100-yard interception return for a touchdown in Saturday night's win at then-No. 16 Georgia Tech. His pick-six flipped the momentum in Pitt's road victory and stands as the longest interception return for a touchdown by an ACC linebacker since at least 1996.
The play was also Pitt's longest interception touchdown since 1908, when Homer Roe recorded a 105-yard pick-six against West Virginia. It marked the second interception return touchdown of Lovelace's career and his second interception of the season. Two of his three career interceptions have been returned for scores.
Up next, the No. 22 Panthers host No. 12 Miami this Saturday at noon, with Pitt's ACC Championship Game hopes still alive. Tickets are available and can be purchased here.
