Six Pitt Men’s Soccer Standouts Earn CSC Academic All-District Accolades

PITTSBURGH – Six members of the Pitt men's soccer team garnered College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors, announced by the organization Tuesday afternoon.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Arnau Vilamitjana earns his first All-District honor with the Panthers, leading the team with eight goals and three assists for 19 points to be named to the All-ACC First Team. The graduate midfielder tallied 17 starts on the season and is also tabbed a CSC Academic All-America® finalist. Finalists will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced December 16, 2025.
Lasse Dahl appeared in 15 matches this season, including 12 starts for a total of 898 minutes. The sophomore is named to the All-District team after tallying three goals and one assist.
Tomas Bedouret joins the list after notching 15 starts on the season, playing the full 90 in ten matches. The redshirt senior added one assist in Pitt's ACC tournament win over Clemson.
Jackson Gilman earns Academic All-District honors after 18 starting nods and anchoring the Pitt backline to five clean sheets. The senior captain tallied an assist in the win over Mercyhurst.
Niklas Soerensen receives honors after 12 starts on the season, playing the full 90 in nine matchups. The sophomore defender aided in five clean sheets and added two assists on the year.
Albert Thorsen rounds out the CSC Academic All-District honorees appearing in 18 matches in 2025, recording three goals and three assists on the season.
