MacPherson Signs Three Future Panthers to 2030 Class

PITTSBURGH – Head Coach Casey Jo MacPherson and the Pitt gymnastics team are thrilled to add three talented student-athletes to the 2030 class. Hailey Avellar, Audrey Dupart and Dara Williamson will join the Panthers next summer and compete during the 2027 season.
"We are so excited to welcome Hailey, Dara, and Audrey to Pitt," says MacPherson. "We look forward to adding their dynamic gymnastics, elegance and artistry to our program as we continue our climb in the national ranks. They exemplify what it means to be a student-athlete at Pitt, bringing a high level of gymnastics while maintaining a standard of academic excellence. Their character is sure to enhance our culture as we aim to recruit the best people, not just the best athletes. We can't wait to see them compete in blue and gold!"
Hailey Avellar | Lake Tapps, Washington | Sumner | Ascend Gymnastics
Avellar enjoyed a standout club career, highlighted by a first-place finish on bars at the 2019 10-11 Hopes Championships. She was also a USA Gymnastics Development Program qualifier for five consecutive years, from 2021–2025.
Hailey is the daughter of Brian and Debbie Avellar and has a younger brother named Brody.
Audrey Dupart | Los Angeles, California | Bishop Montgomery | Flight School Gymnastics
Dupart earned top three finishes on beam and floor at the 2025 state championships and placed fourth in both all-around and floor. A two-time regional qualifier, she is expected to make an impact on next year's roster.
Audrey is the daughter of Kirt and Denise Dupart and has two brothers, Jordan and Blake.
Dara Williamson | Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania | Cumberland Valley | Artistic Sports Academy Plus
Williamson is a three-time All-Around State Champion in Pennsylvania and a 2024 USA Gymnastics Development Program qualifier. The local talent impressed at 2024 regionals, placing second on bars and fourth in all-around. She also reached the podium at Eastern Championships in 2023 in all-around.
A local product, Dara hails from Mechanicsburg. She is the daughter of Derrick and Mary Williamson and has six siblings.
