The Panthers won 15 individual events and four relay events on Saturday, totaling nineteen victories in Pitt's penultimate home meet. Pitt would also go on to sweep all four diving events, finishing with a total of 23 event wins on the weekend.

The 18th-ranked Pitt wrestling team won six bouts, including three wins by bonus points, to defeat No. 15 Stanford 24-15 in the Panthers’ ACC opener.

The Panthers had 10 podium finishes and posted a team score of 195.575 to out pace Illinois State (195.100), George Washington (194.375), and host Western Michigan (192.850) to start the season 3-0.
