Bouzakis Signs Scholarship Agreement to Join Pitt Wrestling

Highest Ranked Recruit to Sign a Scholarship Agreement Under Head Coach Keith Gavin
PITTSBURGH – Vince Bouzakis, the No. 15 ranked recruit in the class of 2025, has signed a scholarship agreement to join the Pitt wrestling program for the 2025-26 season, announced by head coach Keith Gavin Friday afternoon.
Bouzakis, currently ranked No. 7 nationally at 157 pounds out of Wyoming Seminary (PA), has won titles at the state, national, and international level. He won an individual title at 157 en route to a team title at the 2024 National Prep Wrestling Championships. He also won a PIAA state title as a sophomore while at Notre Dame High School (PA) and won two gold medals to contribute to Team USA's men's freestyle team title at the 2023 U17 Pan American Championships.
Bouzakis has been consistently ranked at the top of his weight class throughout his high school career and has taken home titles at Fargo, Powerade, and National Preps. The senior currently holds an 83-8 career record at one of the nation's top prep programs.
The No. 15 ranking is the highest recruit to sign a scholarship agreement under head coach Keith Gavin. Bouzakis joins the 2025 signing class of Bode Marlow, Evan Petrovich, Tristan Steldt and Carson Walsh.
