
Nine Newcomers Featured on the Pitt Lacrosse Roster

PITTSBURGH - Entering the first week of fall competition, Pitt lacrosse features nine new faces on the 2024-25 roster. The new group consists of eight freshmen and one transfer, bringing the total roster size to 39.
The new Panthers hail from Colorado (1), Florida (1), Maryland (2), New York (1), Pennsylvania (3) and Virginia (1):
Kayli Carannante - MID - Mount Sinai, New York

Among the numerous accolades these freshmen earned prior to arriving in Oakland, Giandonato and Telatovich were named to USA Lacrosse All-American teams this summer. Giandonato was named a USA Lacrosse All-American and Telatovich was named a USA Lacrosse All-Academic honoree.
Joining the Class of 2023 is three transfers from the college ranks.
Natalie Calandra-Ryan is a junior from Auburn, New York. The attacker and draw taker played two seasons at Youngstown State University and intends to major in Exercise Science. As a Penguin, Calandra-Ryan was named to the All-MAC First (2022) and Second Teams (2023), the Academic All-MAC Team, the CSC Academic All-District Team and was the 2022 MAC Freshman of the Year. She received MAC Offensive Player of the Week honors four times in two seasons and scored 138 points in only 29 total games.
Sarah Labovitz is a graduate transfer from Great Falls, Virginia. Labovitz competed for four seasons at Washington and Jefferson College and played in the midfield. Her collegiate honors include 2023 PAC Midfielder of the Year, IWLCA All-Region Second Team (2023 & 2021), IWLCA Division III Community Awareness Award Winner and All-PAC First Team (2021-2023). She accrued 210 points, 218 ground balls and 107 caused turnovers in 53 games.
Audrey Moran, a goalie from Plainfield, Illinois, played four seasons at UIndy in Division II before transferring to the University of Pittsburgh. Moran's career accolades to this point include 2023 USA Lacrosse Magazine Third Team All-American, IWLCA All-Region First Team, GLVC Goalkeeper of the year, All-GLVC First Team and CSC Academic All-America Third Team. Moran played 52 games between the pipes and recorded 195 saves with a .461 save percentage.
The new look Panthers begin fall play this Saturday, facing off with Cincinnati and Robert Morris at the Pitt Sports Dome. The full fall schedule can be found here.
