
Pitt Lacrosse Announces Fall Schedule

PITTSBURGH – The Pitt lacrosse program announced its fall competition schedule Wednesday afternoon, which will feature four days of lacrosse in preparation for the 2025 spring season.
"We have high expectations for our 2024-2025 team and built our fall schedule with a high level of competition in mind," said Head Coach Emily Boissonneault. "Traveling to play Penn State, James Madison and Georgetown will be a great way to prepare our team for what is to come."
The Panthers' open fall play when they host the Pitt Play Day on Saturday, October 6. The play day will take place at Highmark Stadium in Pittsburgh's Station Square. Cincinnati, Robert Morris and St. Bonaventure will travel to Pittsburgh to participate in the exhibition action.
Less than a week later, Pitt will go to James Madison for their play day in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The Panthers will play the Dukes, the Georgetown Hoyas and the Virginia Tech Hokies on October 12.
Next up for Pitt will be a short drive east to Penn State for the Penn State Play Day, facing off with the Nittany Lions, Cornell and Drexel on October 19.
To wrap up fall play, the Panthers will participate in the Georgetown Play Day on October 27 against the Hoyas for the second time in the fall and USC.
The new Panther roster features 39 student-athletes, including nine newcomers (seven freshmen, one transfer) and 30 returners.
