
Three Incoming Panthers Earn USA Lacrosse All-America Honors

PITTSBURGH – Pitt Lacrosse incoming freshmen Lexie Conte, Shaye Gluckman and Addie Murdoch recently earned USA Lacrosse honors. Gluckman and Murdoch were named All-Americans, while Conte was named an All-Academic honoree.
Gluckman and Murdoch's recognition both mark the second consecutive year that the duo have been named All-Americans. Gluckman joins the Panthers all the way from Winter Garden, Florida after playing her club lacrosse with LaxManiax. Murdoch hails from Mount Lebanon nearby and played her club ball with Pittsburgh Premier Lacrosse.
Conte earns her academic recognition for the first time and will travel to Pittsburgh after growing up in Downingtown, PA and competing with PA Express.
According to USA Lacrosse: "A USA Lacrosse All-American is a player who exhibits superior skills and techniques and possesses exceptional game sense and knowledge. A USA Lacrosse All-American is one of the best players in the United States, while also embodying excellent sportsmanship.
A USA Lacrosse All-Academic honoree is a player who exhibits exemplary lacrosse skills, good sportsmanship on the field, and represents high standards of academic achievement in the classroom."
