I.C. Light Gets Royal (Blue) Treatment With Pitt Athletics Partnership

PITTSBURGH -- Get excited Panther Nation as Pitt Athletics and Pittsburgh Brewing introduce a royal blue I.C. Light can prominently featuring the iconic Pitt script. Years in the making, Pittsburgh Brewing has been in talks with Pitt to get this project over the finish line. Just in time for the 2024 football season, the brewery will release these co-branded cans in 15-packs of 12oz cans.
For the duration of the Pitt football and basketball season, fans all over the Greater Pittsburgh area can find these royal blue 15-packs in all outlets where Iron City Beer is sold, while supplies last.
I.C. Light is synonymous with the Pittsburgh sports atmosphere. Over the last few decades Pittsburgh Brewing has released multiple limited-edition packages featuring all local major league sports, iconic landmarks, and former athletes in Pittsburgh. The last time Pitt was featured on a can was 1987.
