
Program-Record 20 Panthers Named to All-ACC Academic Team

GREENSBORO, NC – The Pitt lacrosse student-athletes had a strong semester in the University of Pittsburgh classrooms, achieving a 3.51 GPA cumulatively and earning conference recognition by placing 20 on the 2024 Women's Lacrosse All-ACC Academic Team. The list includes: Molly Cain, Alexa Carannante, Rachel Familetti, Jill Fenech, Kaitlyn Giandonato, Gracie Kahoun, Maggie Long, Madigan Lublin, Maureen McNierney, Avery Moon, Audrey Moran, Sydney Naylor, Camdyn O'Donnell, Megan Sheridan, Ava Sumwalt, Paige Telatovich, Abby Thorne, Ava Washington, Dylana Williams and Talia Zuco.
Fenech and Williams have now received the academic recognition in each of their three years on campus. Carannante, Familetti, Lublin, Naylor, O'Donnell, Sumwalt, Thorne and Zuco have all garnered the honor twice.

Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. The student-athletes must have participated in at least 50% of their team's contests as well.
The ACC Honor Roll, which recognizes all conference student-athletes with a grade point average of 3.0 for the current academic year, will be released in July.
