Initial Pitt Football Kickoff Times Announced

PITTSBURGH—Although the 2024 college football season is still three months away, Pitt has already been ticketed for no fewer than four national network games, it was revealed today by ESPN and the Atlantic Coast Conference.
- The Panthers' Aug. 31 season opener against Kent State at Acrisure Stadium will kick off at noon and be televised by ESPNU.
- Pitt will play at Cincinnati for the first time in 12 years and the Sept. 7 contest will be televised by either ESPN or ESPN2 at noon.
- The Backyard Brawl with West Virginia returns to Pittsburgh on Sept. 14. The historic rivalry will kick off at 3:30 p.m., and be shown on either ESPN or ESPN2.
- Pitt celebrates Homecoming on Sept. 21 against Youngstown State. The game will kick off at 3:30 p.m., and be streamed on ACC Network Extra (ACCNX).
- An ESPN Thursday night spotlight will shine on Acrisure when longtime eastern foes Pitt and Syracuse clash on Oct. 24. The Panthers and Orange will kick off at 7:30 p.m.
