PITTSBURGH—Pitt and Big 12 member UCF have signed a home-and-home football scheduling agreement, the schools announced today.
The Panthers will host the initial meeting on Sept. 12, 2026.
The return game will be played in Orlando on Sept. 15, 2029.

Pitt and UCF played three previous times. The Panthers lead the series, 2-1.
The last meeting occurred on Sept. 21, 2019, when the Panthers triumphed, 35-34, in Pittsburgh. The winning touchdown—a gadget-play pass thrown by wide receiver Aaron Mathews to quarterback Kenny Pickett—has been immortalized as the "Pitt Special."
Pitt's 2019 victory halted UCF's 27-game non-bowl winning streak.
The Pitt-UCF series game-by-game:
Oct. 13, 2006: Pitt 52, UCF 7 (Orlando)
Sept. 29, 2018: UCF 45, Pitt 14 (Orlando)
Sept. 21, 2019: Pitt 35, UCF 34 (Pittsburgh)
