Panthers Collect New Hardware at Polish Nationals

PITTSBURGH – Freshman Michal Piela became a two-time Polish National Champion as he claimed first in both the 400 IM (4:21.96) and the 200 IM (2:01.12) at the 2024 Polish Nationals, late last week.
Also competing for Poland, senior Marcin Goraj took home a bronze medal in the 100 back with a time of 55.09. The Krakow, Poland native also clocked in a 2:01.74 in the 200 back – securing seventh place overall.
Krzysztof Radziszewski competed in the 50 back (25.62) and 100 back (57.80) where he took fourth and 15th-place, respectively. Earlier this year, the junior matched his own school record in the 50 back at the 2024 ACC Championships where he went 20.70.
