Pitt Football Opens 2024 Spring Drills

PITTSBURGH—The Pitt football program opened its 2024 spring drills this week at the team's South Side practice facility.

The sunny and warm weather in Pittsburgh allowed the Panthers to practice outside on Monday (March 4) and Friday (March 8), while the team worked out indoors on Wednesday (March 6).

With a renewed focus and energy brought in by numerous first-year staff members, incoming transfers and mid-year freshman enrollees, the Panthers' began building towards the 2024 season, which opens Saturday, Aug. 31 against Kent State at Acrisure Stadium.

Head coach Pat Narduzzi and several Pitt players spoke after practices to the assembled media.
