PITTSBURGH – Forward Blake Hinson was named to the NABC All-District 2 Second Team as announced by the organization Tuesday morning. The Deltona, Fla., native is the third NABC All-District selection in the past four years and Pitt's 62nd NABC All-District selection all-time.
Hinson averaged 18.5 points and 4.4 rebounds per game, while scoring 20 or more points 15 times and making a school record 110 three-point field goals, in leading Pitt to a 22-11 record (12-8 ACC), fourth-place league finish, and an ACC Tournament Semifinal appearance. He shot a career-best 42.1 percent from three-point range and finished tied for 11th in the ACC record books in three-point field goals.
