Pitt Lacrosse Announces 2025 Schedule

PITTSBURGH – The University of Pittsburgh Lacrosse program will play in its fourth season of competition in 2025, with a 16-game regular season schedule. The Panthers will play eight games at Highmark Stadium including conference games against California, Syracuse, Duke and Notre Dame.
Pitt begins the season on the road in New York, with a nonconference game at St. Bonaventure on Saturday, February 8th. After the opener, the Panthers will welcome Arizona State (Feb. 12) and Penn State (Feb. 18) to Pittsburgh before finishing out the month back on the road at Virginia Tech (Feb. 22) and at Stanford (Feb. 27).
In March, Pitt hosts four games at home: vs. Niagara (Mar. 3), vs. California (Mar. 8), vs. Liberty (Mar. 12) and vs. Syracuse (Mar. 15). The Panthers then head to Virginia (Mar. 22), across the state to Temple (Mar. 25) and to Boston College (Mar. 29) to wrap up play in March.
The regular season concludes in April as Pitt plays ACC foe Duke at Highmark Stadium on April 5th before going on a short trip to Robert Morris April 9th. The final two games of the Panthers 2025 slate see Pitt hosting Notre Dame (Apr. 12) and traveling to South Carolina to face Clemson (Apr. 17).
Home games will once again be played at Highmark Stadium this spring and admission for all fans will be free of charge. Highmark Stadium, completed April 13, 2013, at a cost of $10.2 million, features a FIFA-certified synthetic turf field, a banquet area with a large balcony space overlooking the field and with sensational views of the Pittsburgh skyline, and a 2,200 square foot sports bar with an outstanding selection of food and drink offerings. The home of the Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC professional team and the home of Pitt Lacrosse boasts a seating capacity of 5,000 people with additional standing room space for games. Located at Station Square on Pittsburgh's South Shore and overlooking the city's downtown skyline from across the Monongahela River, Highmark Stadium is surrounded by a variety of restaurants, hotels and other amenities that add to the gameday atmosphere.
