Pitt Secures No. 2 Overall Seed; Punches Ticket to 2024 NCAA Tournament

INDIANAPOLIS – Following one of the best regular seasons in program history, the Pitt men's soccer team earned the No. 2 overall seed in the 2024 NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament, as announced via NCAA.com on Monday evening.
By way of earning a top 16 seed, the Panthers earned a first-round bye and will face the winner of Cornell/Fordham on Sunday, Nov. 24 at 5 p.m., in the round of 32.
Monday's nod marked the sixth straight season and eighth time overall the Panthers earned a bid in the NCAA Tournament. The Panthers own a 10-6-1 overall record in NCAA Tournament games in program history including a 10-4-1 record under head coach Jay Vidovich.
Since Vidovich took over the program, Pitt owns a 5-1-0 record in NCAA Tournament home matches.
