
Pitt Inks Four to Scholarship Agreements

PITTSBURGH – The Pitt wrestling program signed Bode Marlow, Evan Petrovich, Tristan Steldt and Carson Walsh to scholarship agreements for the 2025-26 season, head coach Keith Gavin announced Thursday morning.
Bode Marlow (Jefferson Hills, Pa. / Thomas Jefferson)
Marlow, a two-time PIAA championship qualifier from Thomas Jefferson High School, is rated as the No. 89 overall recruit and No. 14 in the pound-for-pound rankings by FloWrestling. Marlow claimed his first WPIAL Class AAA title at 160 in March and finished third at the PIAA Championships. The Jefferson Hills, Pa., native compiled a 39-7 record during his junior season and has recorded 112-27 career record.
Evan Petrovich (Connellsville, Pa. / Connellsville)
Petrovich is a two-time WPIAL Champion at 145 from Connellsville High School. He won district and regional gold medals at the 2024 WPIAL Class AAA Championships and placed third at the 2024 PIAA Championships at 145.
Tristan Steldt (Fennimore, WI / Fennimore)
Steldt, a two-time Wisconsin state champion, has compiled a 102-14 record in three seasons at Fennimore High School. He qualified for the WIAA Individual State Tournament in each of his three years and won WIAA Division 3 state titles as a sophomore at 160 and as a junior at 157.
Carson Walsh (Sparta Township, N.J. / Pope John)
Walsh, a three-time New Jersey state qualifier, finished second in the state tournament as a junior at 132 and compiled a 38-4 record for the season with Pope John XXII Regional High School. He was named to the All-Herald First Team as a freshman and was a District 3 and Region 1 champion as a sophomore.
