
Two Incoming Panthers Earn USA Lacrosse All-America Honors

PITTSBURGH – Pitt Lacrosse incoming freshmen Kaitlyn Giandonato and Paige Telatovich recently earned USA Lacrosse honors. Giandonato was named an All-American while Telatovich was named an All-Academic honoree.
Giandonato earnes USA Lacrosse honors for the second consecutive year, after being named a 2022 All-American and All-Academic awardee. She comes to Pitt from Malvern, Pennsylvania, playing for Great Valley High School and Philly Blast Lacrosse.
Telatovich, a midfielder out of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, earned her academic honor after her senior season at Freedom High School and playing club lacrosse with STEPS New Jersey.
According to USA Lacrosse: "A USA Lacrosse All-American is a player who exhibits superior skills and techniques and possesses exceptional game sense and knowledge. A USA Lacrosse All-American is one of the best players in the United States, while also embodying excellent sportsmanship.
A USA Lacrosse All-Academic honoree is a player who exhibits exemplary lacrosse skills, good sportsmanship on the field, and represents high standards of academic achievement in the classroom."
Giandonato and Telatovich join other incoming freshmen Kendall Barnes, Avery Moon and Megan Sheridan for the 2024 campaign. The Panthers will release their fall play day plans in the coming weeks.
