Panthers Place Seventeen on All-ACC Academic Team

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Pitt lacrosse student-athletes completed a strong semester in the classroom that has earned 17 a place on the 2023 Women's Lacrosse All-ACC Academic Team, as announced by the conference Thursday morning. The list includes: Elise Bialecki, Molly Cain, Alexa Carannante, Molly Carter, Emily Coughlin, Rachel Familetti, Jill Fenech, Sammie Giroux, Madigan Lublin, Sydney Naylor, Camdyn O'Donnell, Ava Sumwalt, Abby Thorne, Brittney Villhauer, Natalie Voorhees, Dylana Williams and Talia Zuco.
Fenech and Williams have now received the academic recognition in each of their two years on campus. The rising juniors were also named to the All-ACC Freshman Team following the 2022 season.

Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. The student-athletes must have participated in at least 50% of their team's contests as well.
The ACC Honor Roll, which recognizes all conference student-athletes with a grade point average of 3.0 for the current academic year, will be released in July.
