As a member of the Pitt Athletics Executive Team, Ford will play an important role in the department's daily operations and execution of its strategic goals. She will be a key athletics liaison for the University's Board of Trustees, Champions Advisory Board and the larger campus community.
"We are thrilled to welcome Blaire to Pitt Athletics and I am confident she will be a valuable addition to our Executive Team," Lyke said. She has a real ability to help build successful athletic programs. Blaire will absolutely be an asset for our team."
"I am honored to join the University of Pittsburgh and Heather Lyke's outstanding team in athletics," Ford said. "Pitt is an incredibly esteemed institution, both academically and athletically. The Panthers are in the midst of a great run with so many different programs competing for, and winning, championships. I'm excited to help Pitt continue to build on this exciting success."
