Three Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

PITTSBURGH – Three members of the Pitt women's swimming and diving team were selected to the 2022-23 Academic All-District Team, as announced by the College Sports Communicators Tuesday afternoon.
Diver Emma Gravgaard (engineering), swimmer Jacqueline Tinneny (leadership health informatics) and swimmer Sophie Yendell (urban studies) were named to the women's team.
To qualify for the CSC Academic All-District Team, student-athletes must a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA and compete in at least 50 percent of the team's competitions.
Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in mid-March.

The 2022-23 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes swimming & diving honorees in four divisions.
