
ACC Announces Wrestling Seeds, Brackets, Allocations

PITTSBURGH—The Atlantic Coast Conference has announced brackets, seeds and NCAA allocations for the upcoming 2023 ACC Wrestling Championship on Sunday, March 5 in Raleigh, N.C.
The Pitt wrestling team will send 10 individuals to NC State's Reynolds Coliseum this weekend for the crucial conference tournament, with a total of 33 automatically allocated bids to the 2023 NCAA Championships up for grabs for the 59 wrestlers competing.
The Panthers, who earned a share of the ACC dual title with a 4-1 record in conference matches, will look to upend favorites NC State and Virginia Tech for the ACC's team tournament title on Sunday.
Pitt received a league-high four No. 1 seeds at the 2023 ACC Championship, with Micky Phillippi at 133, Cole Matthews at 141, Holden Heller at 165 and Nino Bonaccorsi at 197 all earning top seeds.
Here are all of Pitt's individual wrestlers set for postseason competition and their ACC pre-seeding, along with the number of allocated bids for the 2023 NCAA Championships in each weight class:

The 2023 ACC Wrestling Championship will start and finish on Sunday, March 5.
Action from Raleigh begins at 11 a.m. with coverage of two mats on ACC Network Extra. The semifinals will take place at approximately 1 p.m. and consolations at 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.
The championship bouts will be televised linearly on ACC Network at 7 p.m. from Reynolds Coliseum.
