
Jennifer Tuscano to Receive Induction into Pitt-Johnstown Athletics Hall of Fame

PITTSBURGH – University of Pittsburgh Executive Associate Athletic Director and Senior Woman Administrator Jennifer Tuscano will be inducted into the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown Athletics Hall of Fame as part of the 2023 class.
The six-member class marks the 14th to receive enshrinement in the Hall of Fame since its 2007 establishment. The 2023 class will be honored on Saturday, April 22 with a reception at 5:45 pm in the Sports Center Hall of Fame Room in the Wellness Center on the UPJ campus.
From 1995-1999, Jennifer Tuscano proved to be one of the most prolific scorers in Pitt-Johnstown history, finishing her career with 1,396 points, while helping to lead Head Coach Jodi Goult's Lady Cat basketball team to a pair of NCAA Division II Regional Tournament berths.
During her nearly two-decade professional tenure at the University of Pittsburgh, Tuscano has served in a number of increasingly elevated roles, most recently earning the promotion to Executive Associate Athletic Director for Sport Administration and Senior Woman Administrator (SWA).
Tuscano's impact within Pitt Athletics was recognized when she was named the department's 2022 "Gold Standard Leader" for exemplary service and leadership.
Tuscano serves on the athletic director's executive staff and has oversight of Pitt's compliance, academic support and sports performance divisions. She additionally leads the sport administration team, which provides direction for Pitt's 19 intercollegiate programs.
As Senior Woman Administrator, Tuscano represents the Panthers' Olympic sports at the Atlantic Coast Conference and NCAA levels, while working to promote meaningful and diverse representation in the leadership and management of college sports.
One of Pitt's most experienced and accomplished sport administrators, Tuscano has direct oversight of the Panthers' men's soccer, women's basketball, gymnastics, softball and wrestling programs.
