
Five Divers Advance to Finals at OSU Invite

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The University of Pittsburgh men's and women's diving program had five divers reach the finals during the first day of competition at the Ohio State Invite at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion, Thursday night.
Maggie Foley and Megan Iannon each reached the finals in the women's 3-meter. Foley finished seventh overall in the prelims (226.45) and 11th in the finals (220.25). Iannon finished 10th overall in the prelims and eighth in the finals (236.65).
Dylan Reed, Chase Marafioto, and Jackson Salisbury all qualified for the men's 1-meter. Reed finished second overall in the prelims (376.76) and seventh in the finals (320.20). Marafioto placed ninth in the prelims (298.05) and 11th in the finals (272.25) while Salisbury came in 12th during the prelims and 12th in the finals (264.25).
UP NEXT
The Pitt divers are back in action Friday, Nov. 17, for the second day of the Ohio State Invite. The women will compete on the 1-meter and the men will compete on the 3-meter. Prelims begin at 9 a.m. with finals to follow at 5:30 p.m.
