Pitt Announces Fall 2022 Schedule

PITTSBURGH – The University of Pittsburgh lacrosse program announced its fall competition schedule, which will feature five play days in preparation for the 2023 Pitt Lacrosse season.
"We're really excited about our fall schedule," said Head Coach Emily Boissonneault. "It's an opportunity to see the work the girls have put in this summer and the progress we've made this fall. We're specifically looking forward to watching the speed and depth of our team."
The Panthers' play days begin with a drive to State College for games at Penn State on Oct. 8. The next week, Pitt will host their own play day on Wednesday, Oct. 12 and "travel" to Rooney Field at Duquesne for multiple games on Oct. 16. They will finish out the fall season with a trip across the state to Penn on Oct. 23 and to Columbus, Ohio for the Ohio State Play Day on Oct. 29.
Pitt's play day at Highmark Stadium is open to the public and lacrosse fans are encouraged to come out and enjoy one of the best settings in college lacrosse.
"We built our schedule to be competitive and challenging, give opportunity and to best prepare us for the upcoming season," said Boissonneault. "The Pitt play day will be an intrasquad game and the team is looking forward to practicing in their blue and gold teams to prepare. They take a lot of pride in outplaying and competing with one another, so it should be a great day!"
